Powdery Mildew on summer squash, melon, cucumber and gherkin : Which varieties to choose ?

The "white disease," that is, powdery mildew, is a fungus that is prevalent in warm and humid conditions and attacks the majority of cucurbits. It is characterized by whitish felting on leaves and stems. Some varieties are naturally more resistant to powdery mildew: for example, the ANASTA F1 melon, the ASTIA F1 zucchini or the ROCCKER F1 cucumber.
