Sow in a tray or mini-clod in a moist but not waterlogged growing medium; transplant as a clod or into a pot. Germination temperature: 25–26°C (4–5 days). Transplant when the cotyledons are fully expanded at 20–22°C. Grow at a minimum of 16–17°C at night and 18–22°C during the day. Plant hardening-off period: 15 to 20 days, depending on the season and root ball size. Grafting is possible to increase vigor and yield.
